Eatec Moves to Watergate Tower I
EMERYVILLE, Calif., May 21, 2004 – Eatec Corporation, a food service management system software company, signed a 9,200 square foot lease at 1900 Powell Street in Emeryville. Eatec locked in a five year lease that will commence July 15, 2004. Matt Elmquist and Alan Bernier of Aegis Realty Partners brokered the deal, representing the tenant. Equity Office Properties is the owner and property manager of the four-building Watergate Tower complex.
Founded in 1985, Eatec Corporation is a food service management system software company. The company will be relocating its headquarters from 1350 Ocean Avenue in Emeryville. The new office space will accommodate their overall employee growth due to increasing sales. “We are pleased with our new office space and the economic terms of our lease,” stated Gabrielle Saad, Executive Vice President of Eatec. “We explored several real estate options and this space was the best overall fit given our requirements.”

We identified one of the last spaces with quality furniture and IT infrastructure in place. Eatec is receiving a great value,” said Matt Elmquist of Aegis.
