MedAmerica Moves from Oakland to Emeryville
EMERYVILLE, Calif., October 15, 2004 – MedAmerica, Inc., a service firm that provides comprehensive support to physicians in the health care industry, signed a 23,122 square foot sublease at 2100 Powell Street in Emeryville. MedAmerica’s 100 month term will commence December 1, 2004. Scott Stone of Aegis Realty Partners brokered the deal, representing MedAmerica. Siebel Systems is the sublandlord. The company will be relocating its offices from 2101 Webster Street in Oakland.
Aegis Realty Partners worked with MedAmerica in evaluating multiple alternatives from Berkeley to Oakland. “MedAmerica was in the market to upgrade their office space and grow their business. Aegis helped MedAmerica arrive at the best option at 2100 Powell Street. In evaluating the market options, MedAmerica found the economics of this lease very favorable considering the high quality furniture and IT infrastructure in place,” said Scott Stone of Aegis.
