OAKLAND, Calif., July 13, 2004 - In a nod to a healthier technology sector and an example of a successful post-dot.com corporate turnaround, Ask Jeeves, Inc., has signed a new lease to move its corporate headquarters to 555 City Center in Oakland from its current location in Emeryville. The company, a provider of information retrieval technologies, brands and advertising services, has leased a total of 55,803 square feet and will occupy the building’s fourth and fifth floors, and a portion of its plaza level floor. The lease, which commences December 1, 2004, will run for eight
years and six months.
